The series Inside: adverb. in or into the inner part highlights some of the homes I had the pleasure of visiting. Each photo expresses a small tale, and captures the serenity, intimacy and purity of the moment. I also wanted to provide a little insight of the owner, that is, to get inside of the mind and show a side of who they are and what their own personal story may be.

(Anti) Focus: verb. to bring to a focus or into focus mimicks my world of bad vision. Having lived with poor eyesight since childhood, I've always had a hard time explaining what I see without the assistance of glasses or contacts. What intrigued me while shooting this series was how colors, shapes and light jumped out. I suppose this may be how some animals detect predetors or food.

Above: preposition. higher in position was an idea that hit me as I was walking down the street one day. I noticed that I, like so many others, look down on the ground. Why not, I thought, look up? If one takes the time to look skyward and see what's above, you'll notice a whole other world filled with beauty and mystery. And you too may be grateful for the wondrous and pristine moment that only you have witnessed.
